Become a Volunteer
SNAP volunteers are caring, dedicated, and hardworking people who commit time and energy to fundraising, event planning, coaching, and mentoring South Shore students with special needs.
Our volunteers are passionate about building an inclusive and accepting community that values and celebrates the unique gifts of each individual. Through their efforts, our participants are able to experience a wide variety of athletic and recreational activities.
SNAP coaches and mentors are rewarded by new friendships and the satisfaction of knowing that they are making a positive impact!

“To me, being a SNAP mentor was one of the most meaningful experiences of my high school career. SNAP introduced me to a diverse community of children of various ages, personalities, and abilities.
Being a SNAP mentor provided the perfect platform to both share my passion for sports and gain a new perspective on how rewarding it is to give back to the community.”
— Quinn Maguire, SNAP Mentor
